The Main Area of the Slaughter House... You walk down the hall way and find your self in what must have been the work area of the old slaughter house. Everything is suprisingly clean on orderly. As you walk around you notice that most of the equipment is still around and in good working condition. You wonder for a second if that Harley person is actually considering reopening this place. But that is nonsense. The city would never allow it. The animals would cause too much noise and surely the smell would drive people insane. But there must be some reason that this area was kept in such good condition. As you continue to look around the questions you have fade to the back of your mind. You'll just have to ask Harley later. The room is fairly large. You happen to notice that there are a fair number of doors. Curiosity reigns supream as you come to the first on. It is unfortunately locked. The next one you come to, on the other hand, in not. You carefully open the door. Inside are what appears to be a series of freezers and meat hooks. A few whole cows that have been skinned and prepared, are sitting out, thawing. The blood is being carefully collected by stainless steel containers that sit just under the cows. Nauseated, you leave the room and bypass all the doors that resemble that last one. At the far end of the room there is another set of door. Each of these has a window through which you can see inside. In each of the rooms is a set of four bunks. Most of the beds seem to have people sleeping in them. They all look to be well off and cared for. Suddenly a thought comes to you. This must be some sort of shelter for the poor or homeless of the city. Of course! That would explain why everything is so clean and the excessive amounts of food that they have in those freezers. Pleased with this answer you turn to leave. You had not even tried to open the doors with people behind them, for they all seemed to be sleeping and it would be embarrassing to disturb them. All other doors are locked in this area. As you leave, you look out the only window you realize that the sun has set and it is getting late.
